Sina Sports has become the latest online media operator to secure rights to UEFA Champions League after its announcement of signing a partnership deal with Union of European Football Association (UEFA), according to a news report from Sina official website.
First match of the 2015/16 EPL attracted half a million Chinese
According to the data provided by Super Sports, on the night that the first match of the new season EPL took place, users of its online broadcasting platform exceeded 500,000 at its peak, with each user being on the platform for 80 minutes on average, while New Vision, the cable TV channel of Super Sports drew 3.2 million users.
