Chinese photovoltaic products manufacturer JinkoSolar has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with National Basketball Association (NBA) champions the Golden State Warriors.
Under the terms of the agreement, which will cover the 2015-16 and 2016-17 NBA seasons, JinkoSolar becomes the exclusive solar products partner of Golden State Warriors.
It will benefit from signage on fencing barriers at the end zones during Warriors fixtures at the Oracle Arena, along with placement on the team’s official website.
“I am pleased to add the NBA champions Golden State Warriors to our sponsorship agreements after we cooperated with Valencia FC, San Francisco 49ers and the German national football team. The Warriors are tremendously popular in the US and worldwide. We are confident that this partnership will increase the company’s brand awareness in the US and across the world,” said Xiande Li, chairman of JinkoSolar.
The Golden State Warriors won the fourth championship in the franchise's history this summer, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in the finals series to end the 2014/15 NBA season.
