As a new step to engage more young consumers, the English automobile brand Jaguar has struck a deal with China Electronic Sport Tournament (CEST), making the brand’s new model, the Jaguar XEL, the title sponsor of the King of Glory tournament in 2017.
Under this partnership, a new Jaguar XEL challenge will be featured in the King of Glory tournament. Reportedly, all King of Glory enthusiasts can join the challenge as a 5-member team. At the end of the challenge, Jaguar will sign an agreement with the winning team, which will allow the team to represent Jaguar and compete at the King of Glory Champions Tournament.
The battle between Jaguar’s team (the winner of the challenge) and the King of Glory tournament champions will take place in December, 2017. All five members of the winning team will be given the rights to use a Jaguar XEL for one year.
Under the direction of the Ministry of Culture of China, CEST is a nationwide eSports tournament launched by the Internet Access Service Association of China and NVIDIA China in 2016. In the 2017 edition, CEST has included two games, League of Legends and King of Glory as its official tournaments.
