The Giant of the instant noodles industry, Master Kong, has started a basketball charity project to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
As part of its partnership with NBA China, the instant noodles brand is planning to set up 6 “basketball dream” centers for youngsters in underdeveloped areas as well as donate basketball equipment for 75 Chinese schools.
Two NBA stars Andre Iguodala and Jamal Crawford have shared their personal experiences and presented autographed basketballs as gifts to their young fans at the ceremony.
NBA China chief executive David Shoemaker hopes that this project will provide new sports facilities and apparel for thousands of students in the 75 schools and teach them how to live a positive life with respect, teamwork and leadership.
According to their plan, Master Kong will start the project in the first year by covering 25 primary schools in remote and border areas in China.
Master Kong has officially become the exclusive sponsor of the NBA China in 2015.
