China’s leading telecommunication company Huawei has taken a further step to continue its global expansion and sharpen its competitive edge by announcing a partnership deal with top Egyptian football club Al Ahly.
Under the three-year agreement, Huawei’s logo will appear on the chest of Al Ahly shirts. The financial terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed.
Al Ahly players and board members were present alongside Huawei board members at the recent inauguration.
“Huawei are proud to partner with a club which has a long history,” said George Lee, manager of Huawei Egypt operations. “Today’s event officially ties telecommunication and smart phone giants Huawei and trophy hunter, Al Ahly. This partnership is a true addition to Huawei’s success in the Egyptian market.”
