Natural mineral water brand Alps sign three-year partnership with BWF

Shanghai CRED Real Estate announced a 3-year sponsorship deal with Australian Football League (AFL) side Port Adelaide in Shanghai last week.
The deal, as part of the MOU signed by the two parties in April, will see the Shanghai real estate company become a sponsor of the AFL club for the next three years. The Chinese company is understood to have agreed to pay Port Adelaide $1 million annually.
With the support of the Shanghai-based real estate company, Port Adelaide is keen on a Premiership match in China. However, the club needs to wait for approval from the AFL Commission.
Port Adelaide President David Koch, said “For us, success in China will be measured by more than playing an AFL game in Shanghai. We want to build cultural and trade ties between Australia and China. We want to help the game of Australian football grow here.”
“And we want to build the brand of ‘Australia’ with AFL games on Chinese television — a move that not only helps us, but the AFL and other AFL clubs wanting exposure in the world’s biggest market,” Koch added.
