Fung Kin Shing, the former head of TVB's sports desk, has joined LeSports HK to help create its sports entertainment content.
At present, Fung is in France delivering live coverage of UEFA Euro 2016. At the same time, he will capture first-hand sports information for Hong Kong soccer fans, according to a report by Marketing-interactive.com.
"I think sports news is part of the news too; it should not be treated as dispensable," Fung wrote in his farewell message. "It's like dessert. People would not feel satisfied without it after a dinner."
He said that, given the limited air time, sports news should not reflect the interest of any particular person, but topics covered should reflect the public's interest.
Fung is passionate about everything associated with sports. Before he joined LeSports HK, Fung had been a renowned sports reporter and anchor at different local television stations.
