Premier League giants Liverpool FC have officially announced the club has agreed a regional partnership with MG Auto in China.
Under the agreement, MG will become the official partner of Liverpool FC in China for 18 months, according to China’s web portal Sohu. However, the financial terms of the deal were not revealed.
MG will officially announce the partnership with Liverpool at its upcoming Dealers Assembly and will also launch promotional campaigns around the partnership in April when the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition will be held. Additionally,three Liverpool players will take part in a TV advertisement for the vehicle brand which will be screened during the 2017 Spring Festival.Players will include club skipper Jordan Henderson,Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho. The brand will also launchan MG GS edition on the theme of Liverpool FC.
MG is a car brand affiliatedto theSAIC Group which is on a RMB150m sponsorship deal with CSL side Shanghai SIPG FC.
