SPORTACCORD 2024 INSIGHTS: Sport’s Perfect Storm

NBA China has named Shandong Linglong Tire and Chinese liquor maker Jiannanchun Group as the official partners of the2017 NBA Global Games China.
Brokered by Beijing iRena, the two deals will see Linglong and Jiannanchun launch a series of marketing campaigns regarding the 2017 China games.
As an executive of Linglong Tire said, “Basketball has grown rapidly in China against a favorable sports environment. It has a large fan base and great marketing potential in the country. In recent years, the NBA Global Games China has seen dramatic development, which accords with our long-term marketing strategy.”
Li Jin, Head of Jiannanchun Public Relations stated: “We see this partnership as an opportunity to promote our product to the international market and get customers around the world understand Chinese liquor culture.” Jiannanchun’s campaign includes an NBA legends meet in Shenzhen.
The 2017 NBA Global Games China, expected to be presented by Master Kong, will feature two preseason games in China between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Warriors and Timberwolves will play October 5 in Shenzhen at the Shenzhen Universiade Center, followed by a rematch in Shanghai at the Mercedes-Benz Arena on October 8.
