The National Stadium, Beijing Beiao and Inter Sports have signed a partnership deal to jointly promote the upcoming “Bird’s Nest Cup”, to turn it into a top international football tournament.
Under this deal, Inter Sports, in partnership with the other two companies, will launch an investment project to support the event from 2017 to 2026.
At the press conference held last Thursday, the Beiao CEO Wu Xiaonan said, “The Bird’s Nest (also known as the National Statium), as Beijing’s new landmark, has hailed many important events. To promote football’s development in China, we are responsible for organising regular and sustainable tournaments.”
In addition to this, Inter Sports, together with the National Stadium and Intech, will set up a ten-year programme to be known as “The Bird’s Nest Running Lab”. This programme aims to engage amateur runners in yearly training activities to be organised from April to November.
