Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei province, has been picked on Thursday to hold the 7th Military World Games in 2019.
The International Military Sports Council (IMSC) made the choice at a conference in Kuwait City on May 21.
China supports international military sports and bid with enthusiasm and sincerity to host the event, according to a statement from Ma Kaiping, head of the Chinese delegation. With 88 sports facilities and a rich history, Wuhan will be a successful host.
On May 21, IMSC president Hakeem Al-Shino announced that Wuhan had won the 2019 Military World Games bid. It was a moment worth celebrating, says Ma.
