Herbalife China has signed a three-year strategic nutrition sponsorship deal with the organising committee of the 2016 Xiamen Marathon at the 2016 C&D Xiamen International Marathon Press Conference and Brand Share Conference which took place on November 13th.
Under the terms of the three-year agreement Herbalife will be Xiamen Marathon's strategic sponsor and official nutrition partner from 2016 to 2018. Runners will participate in the Herbalife Online Marathon Classroom to access pre-race nutrition suggestions, marathon training plans and after-race recovery schedules. In addition Herbalife will set up an exclusive booth at Xiamen Marathon Expo three days before the event where runners will be able to avail of Herbalife’s main products and professional health tests.
Herbalife, with a 35-year history, is an American multinational multi-level marketing corporation that develops, markets and sells nutrition supplements as well as weight management, sports nutrition and personal-care products. The company has sponsored a number of athletes, sports teams and sporting events internationally. These include the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Club San Luis from Mexico and the 2012 World Football Challenge. Their aim is to add fun, youthfulness, fashion and financial support to the sports they become involved in.
