Real Madrid FC held a jointly press conference with SOXNA and the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) in Nanjing China on April 11, announcing the initiation of An overall plan for Chinese campus football.
Real Madrid FC will send 4 coaches to guide the coach education in China in the next month. And they also plan to start a two-week elite group training session in Madrid Spain for 160 Chinese football coaches selected out of 1600 across the country.
Luis Fernandez, head of Real Madrid FC Asia Pacific, told the media on the press that Real Madrid would visit China and play two friendly matches in this summer. And super stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale would highly likely show up to meet the supporters, especially those youth football players in China.
Fernandez also revealed that Real Madrid FC were interested in building football schools in China and the club were set to negotiate with heads of local sports bureaus.
Besides, Real Madrid FC are considering a communicational visit in China with first-team players. According to reports, Real Madrid will play both AC Milan and Inter Milan in China this July. Real Madrid showed up in Tianjin and Guangzhou in their last visit in August, 2011.
