On the morning of October 28th, Qingdao Sino-German Park and Bayern Munich Football Club signed a formal agreement at the Chinese Embassy in Berlin, Germany. The two sides are set to establish the first "Bayern Munich Football Training School" in China. This means the famed Bayern Munich "youth training "system will be introduced to China for the first time.
According to the agreement, students of Bayern Munich Football Training School will have the possibility of being trained by Bayern Munich coaches in Munich. Students who get a “special recommendation” will be sent to the Bayern Munich youth academy for systematic training. Chinese football coaches will also have the opportunity to go to Bayern Munich for training or visits.
"We will also invite legendary Bayern players to carry out short-term training for young football players,” claimed Yu Hao, Chairman of Qingdao Sino-German Sports Culture Co. Ltd. Students of the training school will train together with a youth team from Bayern Munich in Sino-German Park every year. The two sides will also establish a Bayern Munich football museum in the Sino-German Park.
The project will occupy nearly 3 million square meters with the construction area of 9440 square meters and investment of about 80 million yuan.
A 5-a-side all-weather football pitch, a 5-a-side football field, a 7-a-side football field, an 11-a-side standard football stadium and other corresponding facilities have been built.
