Hisense Named Official Partner of FIFA Club World Cup 2025

Huawei has agreed a sponsorship deal with AFL team Gold Coast Suns in Australia, becoming the official technology and ball partner of the team.
This deal will allow Huawei to brand on all the balls used at the team’s stadium, Metricon Stadium, and to cooperate with the team to develop stadium infrastructure. As reported by sources such as ARN and Sport Business, the job for infrastructure development maybe mainly refers to Wi-Fi networks in the stadium, among other modernizations.
It is the first time that Huawei sponsored an AFL team. Huawei Australia’s board director John Brumby said that Huawei is relatively young in the Australian ICT & Telecommunications market, and that they would continue to grow along with the team, reported ARN.
Huawei has other sports sponsorships in Australia, including NRL’s Canberra Raiders and cycling’s Tour De Cure.
Last year, Huawei has achieved strong growth in the Australian market, with a 109 percent increase in revenue. Worldwide, it also had a 32.7 percent of growth for profit, reaching $US4.5 billion.
