SPORTACCORD 2024 INSIGHTS: Sport’s Perfect Storm

The most famous of the Grand Tours, the Tour de France, have signed a three-year (2019-2021) live digital streaming partnership with the Chinese sports media company, China Sports Zhibo TV. The new partnership was announced today (July 2) via online media reports by China Sports Zhibo TV.
Under this new partnership, the digital media platform will start to live stream the Tour de France 2019 with the first stage, known as the Grand Depart, in Brussels Belgium on July 6 and the Tour finish on the famous Paris (Champs-Élysées) on July 28.
In addition to the French race, China Sports Zhibo TV also signed deals with the Vuelta a España (Tour of Spain) and have also the rights to eight other cycling events including the Spring Classics of Paris–Nice, Paris–Roubaix and La Fleche Wallone.
Besides live streaming the Tour de France, China Sports Zhibo TV will provide relevant content and other activities for fans in China and will invite well-known cycling commentators.
China Sports Zhibo TV is an innovative sports live streaming platform. They have live digital streaming rights to a number of top-level sports events, such as the ITTF World Tour, BWF World Tour and World Snooker tournaments. They also show contents of other sports, such as basketball, boxing, athletics, automobile racing and outdoor action sports.
