L'Etape China 2018 to land in Beijing

November 3: L'Etape China, the amateur version of the Le Tour de France race will take place in Beijing China in 2018, based on a four-sided partnership. 

Guoan Sports, Guoao Group, Shanghai Activation Group and Amaury Sport Organization (A.S.O), the official organizers of Le Tour de France, have reached a joint partnership introducing the premium race to Beijing for the first time. 

Next autumn, the race will reportedly begin in Huairou District, Beijing, with a route stretching from Yanqi Lake to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Unlike the professional race staged every July in France, L’Etape China will be opened to cycling enthusiasts from all over the world. 

This September, Le Tour de France China Criterium made its debut in Changsha, China, with the Etape China being organized by Le Tour de France. In October, the second event of this cycling series took place in Shanghai, with seven International professional teams and five local Chinese teams taking part.
