Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

October 21: Niushou Mountain Resort has announced it is to partner with Jiangsu Shouyoucai, a professional women’s basketball club who will return to the Women’s Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) League.
With the initial purpose of creating a development mode by mutually integrating sport and tourism, the two sides will combine their brands to jointly release adverts and promotional contents. A representative of Niushou Mountain Resort believes that the strategy will help raise their profile, as well as promote the “the fighting spirit” of Jiangsu Shouyoucai.
The representative also disclosed that this partnership was in line with the resort’s overall development strategy that of integrating other industrial aspects into their tourism business with the sports sector being one of the main targets.
Further to this partnership, Niushou Mountain will take a step into the establishment of sports towns, as well as offering sports and recreational tourism services and organizing and introducing sports events into the resort.
Located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, Niushou Mountain is a nationally famous Buddhist resort with over 30 temples built during the Southern Dynasties and Tang Dynasty, while Jiangsu Shouyoucai is a widely known domestic women’s basketball club founded in 1953.
