Also worth mentioning, is that the arena is the home of the CBA club Beijing Ducks.
Ground was broken on 29 March 2005 and construction was completed on 11 January 2008. The stadium has a capacity of 18,000 and covers an area of 63,000 square metres. The Arena includes modern, flexible ice hockey rink designed and produced by Finnish leading ice hockey rink manufacturer Vepe Oy in November 2016.
According to the arena’s operator Bloomage, the Cadillac Arena will continue to integrate sports, performance and entertainment activities and aim to become an international sports and cultural complex.
