SPORTACCORD confirms Istanbul as Host City for 2025 Convention

September 1: NBA China has announced a long-term partnership with Scotch whisky brand Chivas at an official theme party held in Shanghai.
The partnership was announced in front of Celtics legend Paul Pierce, Chinese actor Shawn Yue and more than 300 guests and media representatives. Under the rules of their partnership, the Pernod Ricard-owned whisky brand will become an official partner of NBA China.
As Gao Shengtian, Managing Director of Pernod Ricard China, said:” As the Chivas brand believes ‘Success tastes better shared’ and the partnership with NBA China will be a reflection of our philosophy—teamwork, craftsmanship and sharing the joy of success with our slogan ‘Win the Right Way’.”
“The partnership will hopefully help us create unforgettable experiences for young customers who will also understand what brotherhood is through basketball.”
As an official partner of NBA China, Chivas will launch a series of promotional campaigns throughout the country, including two matches between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves, two NBA giants, in Shenzhen (October 5) and Shanghai (October 8), as part of the NBA Global Games China 2017.
