Xinhuanet Sports has signed a partnership deal with Beijing Dedao Sports, operator of the Chinese folk game Judose. This deal will contribute to the promotion and development of Judose, a popular Chinese game.
As part of the partnership, Xinhuanet Sports will include Judose into its National Sports Branding Plan.
Hou Dawei, general manager of the sports channel, said that Xinhuanet Sports will launch its Plan M, which is aimed at marketing the Chinese traditional sports and industry.
Over the next three years, Xinhuanet Sports will work together with Beijing Dedao Sports, to find out the best way to promote Chinese sports to the world.
Originating from ancient China, Judose was initially promoted on campuses such as Shenyang Sport University, Hebei Normal University and Chengdu Sport University. The game has now become a recognized sport with equipment such as kneepads and different categories depending on the players' weight.
