Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

Tencent Sports and the United States Tennis Association have jointly announced that they had signed a 3-year partnership deal, which will see Tencent Sports become the US Open Tennis tournament's exclusive digital media partner in China. Following partnerships with the French Open and the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, the US Open becomes the third Grand Slam tournament in which Tencent Sport has captured the exclusive media rights.
This partnership will see Tencent Sports provide Chinese users with exclusive live streaming of all matches of the US Open 2017 which run from August 28 to September 10. Other exclusive services and content such as on-demand services, video highlights, off and on-court sidelights and interactive contents will also be delivered to Chinese users on Tencent Sports and its other platforms: Tencent News, Tencent Videos, Tencent QQ and Wechat.
Up to now, Tencent Sports have integrated a lot of media rights into their portfolio. Apart from the exclusive media rights of the three Grand Slam tournaments, Tencent have also acquired the media rights to the NBA, NHL, NFL and Le Tour de France, in addition to the Premier League, Ligue 1, Serie A, Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League.
