Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

July 13: The Bank of China (BOC) has signed a sponsorship agreement with the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (Beijing 2022) soon after Beijing 2022 launched its marketing program and became their first official partner.
As the official partner of Beijing 2022, the BOC will provide high-quality banking facilities and services. They will also help to promote winter sports and support the winter sports industry in China.
According to Beijing 2022’s official website, the BOC will offer the following services:
1. To provide all pre-Games and Games-time banking services for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Beijing 2022, the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and the Chinese Olympic Committee; and to offer all banking services for the Chinese Olympic Team at PyeongChang 2018, Tokyo 2020, Beijing 2022 and the 2024 Olympic Games;
2. To take advantage of the BOC’s international, diversified and professional networks to promote the winter sports and support the winter sports industry in China;
3. To upgrade the BOC’s hardware and software to make sure the banking system can operate properly against freezing and windy weather during the Beijing 2022.
