Three new companies to sponsor 13th National Games

The upcoming 13th National Games taking place from August 27 to September 8 in Tianjin signed up three new sponsors to the National Games on June 9 as exclusive suppliers offering financial support to this premier sports event in China.

One of these three new sponsors is Tianjin Financial Investment & Service Group, a state-holding company specializing in industrial finance.  The other two sponsors are Northern International Trust Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Zhonghuan Electronic and Information (Group) Co.,Ltd. Besides financial support, Zhonghuan Electronic will also leverage their advantage in clean power, such as photovoltaic solar power, to extend and expand their co-operation with the organizing committee of the National Games.

As reported by Radio Tianjin, the organizing committee’s marketing department has signed partnership deals with over 80 well-known domestic and international companies, covering financial support, material supply and service delivery. According to Zhang Jianxin, director of the Games' marketing department, over 250 million RMB ($36.8m) had been raised up to now, with all of the sponsorship contracts estimated to be worth nearly 700 million RMB ($103m) which has exceeded their initial goal. Zhang also hoped that these companies would continuously support the National Games.
