China’s leading sportswear and equipment manufacturer PEAK Sports has recently agreed a strategic partnership with the Great Wall Marathon.
Under the deal, PEAK Sports has become the official supplier of the 2016 Great Wall Marathon, which will see the sportswear brand provide apparel and equipment to participants and staff.
Speaking of the deal, PEAK Sports CEO Xu Zhihua said “The Great Wall Marathon has a close connection with our sport products, (so) the partnership with this event provides sports brands with the greatest branding channel.”
“PEAK Sports, as a leading sports brand in China, has been seeking opportunities to work with international sports events (like this) in branding,” Xu continued.
PEAK Sports, based in Fujian Province, is the leading sportswear and equipment provider in China. The brand has already sealed deals with a roster of basketball superstars, such as Tony Parker and Dwight Howard.
The Great Wall Marathon, launched in 1999, takes place on China’s most renowned sightseeing attraction, the Great Wall. It is seen as one of the world's most challenging marathons. The 2016 edition will kick off on 11th September.
