Shanghai Campus Soccer Training Centre yesterday (January 4th) reached a partnership deal with Kokovic Football Academy which will see around 1,000 campus school soccer coaches trained in Shanghai from the beginning of 2016.
Under the agreement, the two sides will jointly provide 12 courses for soccer coaches in Shanghai schools. These weekly classes will be held at Shanghai Normal University.
Doko Kokovic, the founder of Kokovic Football Academy and former CTO at Shanghai FA, will take the first class which is for primary teachers. There will also be contributions from several foreign lecturers at UEFA A Level.
The partnership is a result of last September’s alliance between Shanghai Education Bureau and JuJu Sports.
A related official at Shanghai Education Bureau said, “The co-operation between the(Shanghai Education) Bureau and JuJu Sports aims to innovate sports reform in schools and bring in more proper international resources.”
