Interview with Andreas Zagklis: to keep popularization of basketball with all-round strategy

La Liga outfit Granada CF has signed a strategic agreement with Chinese Super League side Chongqing Lifan to promote the development of soccer in China.
Under this partnership, Granada will be able to introduce their working methods and philosophy to China. Former Arsenal player and England captain Tony Adams will act as Lifan’s new Technical Director while two Lifan players Fengjin and Wang Zixiang will join Granada CF.
"I hope this collaboration between Granada CF and Chongqing Lifan helps to promote Spanish coaches and enables them to pass on their experience in China. As a league, we're proud of this link-up," stated La Liga President Javier Tebas.
As Granada majority shareholder and Desports President Jiang Lizhang explained, this move is part of the DEFA road map, a plan drawn up by Desports and Media Base Sports (MBS) which was unveiled in March. They hope that more outstanding Chinese players will be sent abroad and La Liga will increase its presence throughout the Asian market.
