Liaoning Hongyun FC, a Chinese Super League (CSL) football club, has launched a football-themed mobile game named as Hongyun Football Club with the help from iRena and Beijing MiRun Century Technology Co., Ltd.
Hongyun Football Club is a football-themed collectible card game, of which the data was collected from the Club's players. Although the game was officially released yesterday, it is currently a public beta.
Liaoning Hongyun FC expected to provide the supporters with more accesses to interactive entertaining platforms by blending football and mobile games.
The virtual game was seen as another approach taken by the Liaoning Hongyun to engage fans as the great history of the club in the course of top Chinese football league has gained them a large fan base.
Liaoning Hongyun is not the only CSL team that has launched mobile games with the aim to engage supporters. Reportedly, Guangzhou Evergrande FC has taken the same approach last year.
