SAIC-GM (Chinese: 上汽通用汽车), a Shanghai-based motor company, has become the official exclusive motor partner of the Dalian Marathon for the next five years.
This deal was brokered by Oceans Sports, the exclusive promoter of the international event. Under this deal, SAIC-GM will provide sponsorship in cash and service cars for the event organizing committee.
This news follows Oceans’ partnership with General Mills, one of the leading consumer food companies of the world. This partnership enabled General Mills-owned Wanchai Ferry to strike a sponsorship deal with the Chinese National Diving Team for the upcoming Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
