Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

Foyo Culture and Entertainment Co Ltd, a subsidiary of investment conglomerate Fosun International Ltd, made another big move in football world following its joining hands with Gestifute, the Portuguese football agency founded by Jorge Mendes at the beginning of this year.
Foyo recently announced that it has signed a MOU with Primeira Super Liga club S.L. Benfica and Polaris Sports Limited, a subsidiary of Gestifute, to work together on football related areas including youth training, players transferring, sponsorship, commercial endorsements and the development of licensed merchandise.
Under the partnership, talented young players in China will have the opportunities to be trained and compete in the higher level competitions in Europe. Meanwhile, Foyo will bring the top football resources of S.L. Benfica to China in the aims of improving Chinese youth football.
According to the head of Foyo, the company will also be involved in sports business, such as mergers and acquisitions of football clubs, events operations, players representing and image rights management.
