According to the resolution, attendees reached a co-operation agreement with Super Sports and Shankai Sports. In the near future, the new partnership will enter negotiations with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), to acquire the new media rights for key tournaments.
Oriental Pearl Media is a cultural company engaged in tourism, media investments and advertising operations. It is listed as one of 50 pivotal large-scale enterprises by the Shanghai government. One of its partners, Shankai Sports, is a leading Chinese sports marketing company with headquarters in Beijing, China and an office in Zurich, Switzerland. The other partner, Super Sports, is the media rights-holder for the Premier League in China and Macau up to 2019.
