New sponsor for Hebei Women’s Football Team

Beijing-based China Fortune Land Development Company (CFLD) has today signed a sponsorship deal with the Heibei Women’s Football Team. This deal will see the CFLD become the title sponsor of the team.

The CFLD first got involved in the football industry in December, 2014, and took over the Hebei Zhongji Football Club from its then title sponsor.

They changed the club name to Hebei China Fortune F.C. in December 2015 after winning promotion to the Chinese Super League for the 2016 season. The club has since expanded its bid for league success by landing international stars such as Gervinho and Ezequiel Lavezzi. They have also partnered with the Heibei Football Association to set up a well-organised youth training system.

The Heibei women’s team have reached the quarter-final and are favourites to win the 2016 Chinese Women’s FA Cup. They will also compete in the upcoming Chinese Women’s Football League One which begins on 3rd April.
