The Chinese Football Association (CFA)recently announced that the Division Two League, CL2,China’s third tier soccer league, is set to sign two partnership deals, with a Beijing sports company and KELME China respectively.
The Beijing sports company, which has already been the data partner of China League One, will become the title sponsor and data partner of CL2 for the next five years under the agreement. In addition, the company will also have broadcast and media rights to the league. As reported, it will take over RMB30 million for the Beijing company to package the above rights to CL2.
Additionally, KEMLE China has also signed a four-year deal with the CFA, which will see the brand become an official supplier of the league.
CL2, founded in 2004, is the third tier soccer league in China. This division currently comprises twenty teams with four more set to join next year.
