The China Friendship Foundation For Peace and Development (CFFPD) alongside Beingmate Baby & Child Food have agreed a 10-year deal to establish the Beingmate Growth Fund to help develop youth soccer in China.
The two sides officially launched the Fund in Hangzhou where former China international striker Hao Haidong and former captain of China’s women’s national team Sun Wen were in attendance.
Under the agreement, Beingmate will finance the organization with RMB64 million of goods and funds initially. And the two sides will also organise a soccer invitation tournament among global juniors.
“As an inaugurator and frontrunner in the baby food industry, Beingmate established the joint ‘Beingmate Growth Fund’ with CFFPD, hoping to find a practical approach for Chinese youth soccer (to develop),” said Xie Hong, founder of Beingmate.
Zhang Jian, vice chairman at the CFA, said “(We) hope the Beingmate Growth Fund will set an example and drive more enterprises and individuals to support Chinese soccer.”
