Li Tie, former star of the Premiere League side Everton FC and Chinese national team has been appointed by Guangzhou Airgoal Sports Equipment Co., Ltd as the company’s global CTO.
And Li Tie himself will also serve as a spokesmen for the football-training-related products of the brand.
Li Tie has paid remarkable attentions to the development of youth football and campus football since retirement and was impressed by Airgoal which has a strong presence on campuses.
After joining Airgoal, Li Tie alongside the company will be working together on delivering football equipment. More importantly, they will focus on grass-roots football and campus football in the coming days.
The 38-year old has established his coaching career as an assistant coach for Marcello Lippi at Guangzhou Evergrande FC and is currently the head coach of China League One side Hebei China Fortune FC.
