Liaoning Hongyun Football Club, a CSL team, has been recently rumored to be acquired by local enterprises, but their general manager denied when facing the media at Member's Day on May 21.
The club met up with groups of fans and reporters at Member's Day activity where Huang Yan, general manager of Liaoning Hongyun, alongside coaching staffs all showed up.
Apart from the supporters' complaint about the club's landslide defeat in the CFA Cup, the media has been focusing on two major movements regarding Liaoning Hongyun.
For one thing, the club is set to return to Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning, Huang revealed.
For another, Huang denied the club would be purchased by any reported company but confirmed the potential investment into the club by Shenyang-based firm.
He explained Liaoning Hongyun would only accept financial sponsorship, be it shirt sponsorship or title sponsorship, rather than selling stock equity.
