Singapore Athletics (SA) has agreed a one-year partnership deal with local traditional Chinese medicine company Kin Teck Tong (KTT) to provide support for its national team and events in 2016.
The one-year deal, worth $280,000, will run from Jan 1. Under the deal, KTT's team of qualified in-house physicians and trained therapists will be accessible to both elite national athletes as well as participants at SA events.
"Through our partnership with Singapore Athletics, we are able to provide sports injury treatment at a location that is convenient to these athletes. It is also our way of giving back to society," KTT’s executive direct Coco Zhang said.
SA president Tang Weng Fei was thrilled with the tie-up. He said, “We are always looking out for new opportunities to partner with forward looking companies in the holistic care of our athletes and other sports participants. Being an athlete-centric organisation, we hope to continue providing added value to our stakeholders within the athletics fraternity.”
