Beijing Bayi School has signed a memorandum of understanding regarding players training with English Football League Championship side Bolton Wanderers FC on Wednesday when delegates of the school paid a visit to the Bolton city.
Premiere League chairman Dave Richards and Chinese Consul General in Manchester Li Yongsheng alongside the mayor of Bolton and directing manager were also in presence of the signing ceremony.
The deal would likely result in coaches from the Bolton Wanderers FC “travelling to China and Bayi students coming to train at the new free school at the Macron”, according to The Bolton News.
In addition, educations on soccer coaches would be added to expand the partnership in the future as well.
Besides promoting footballing links, the trip also created an opportunity for commercial ties between Bolton and China.
Bolton Wanderers FC, founded in 1874, is now a Championship side since relegation from the Premiere League in 2012.
