Winning League Sports Technology Co. Ltd., the Figo Academy’s official soccer school partner in China, has officially announced that it has bought into China League One side Inner Mongol Zhongyou Football Club.
The move will see Winning League fully take charge of the operations and management of the club. For the coming season, the club will change its name to Inner Mongol Zhongyou Winning League Football Club. However, the company didn’t disclose the financial terms of the deal.
“As a pilot province to implement soccer-related reform, Inner Mongolia has a bright future in soccer”, said Ren Xuandong, CEO of Winning League.
Ren added, “With the takeover of the club, it will be based in Inner Mongolia and have the players backed up by family support regardless of success or failure”.
Winning League is a Beijing company dedicated to the soccer industry and has helped launch 27 Figo Academies across 14 Chinese cities.
