November 7: Having confirmed their participation in one of Germany's regional fourth divisions for the upcoming season, China’s U20 men’s national football team have embraced a new sponsor – Xifeng Liquor.
The sponsorship deal signed between Xifeng Liquor and the Chinese Football Association (CFA), will see the liquor brand become the U20 team’s official strategic partner and will also set up a performance bonus fund for the team.
According to representatives from Xifeng Liquor, the company has paid over RMB10 million for this deal and will keep supporting Chinese football over the next 3 years.
This month, the team will set off to play 19 competitive games in the regional southwest division of Germany's fourth tier in the 2017/2018 season.
Xifeng Liquor is widely known as one of the four most famous liquors in China. In recent years, Xifeng Liquor has conducted their sports marketing strategy by sponsoring influential sports events, including the International Champions Cup China, WBA World Championships and the FEI World Cup ShowJumping China League.
