Chinese media and entertainment company Hualu Baina has entered into a contract with China Football Industry Development Corporation for the sponsorship rights to the Chinese Football Association Cup (CFA Cup).
Because of this partnership, Hualu Baina has helped the CFA Cup secure a sponsor from the mobile phone sector. The Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Jinli will sponsor CFA Cup for the next three years.
The CFA Cup is a football event sanctioned by the Chinese Football Association while the China Football Industry Development Corp is the company that handles the business operation of CFA.
According to a report on Sina, the general manager of China Football Industry Development Corp. said that CFA Cup would need a partner like Hualu Baina to improve marketing and promotion, and the two sides could develop more cooperation in the coming years.
Hualu Baina has initiated a series of proactive moves in the Chinese sports industry since the first half of 2015. They established a 15-year strategic cooperation with Euroleague Basketball in July, and formed a partnership with Hebei Province to invest in winter sports in August.
