Sina Sports, sports sector of Sina.com, has struck an exclusive media partnership deal with Juventus FC on the Serie A side’s China tour.
Under the deal, Sina sports acquired the accessibility to exclusive interviews covering head coach Massimiliano Allegri, players including Gianluigi Buffon, and former star David Trezeguet of the Old Lady.
Sina Sports will also join the team for daily video footages and encourage the fans to engage more with Juventus during their visit.
As reported earlier last month, the Old Lady opened the official account on Sina Weibo, arguably China’s most popular microblog.
The deal alongside Sina’s collaboration with Carlo Ancelotti are seen as approaches to explore derivatives business generated by sports stars.
The Italian football giants will face Lazio in the final of 2015 Supercoppa Italiana (Italian Super Cup) which takes place in Shanghai, China on August 8th.
