The traditional German aquatic sport event “Wasserschuh” was heatedly held in Germany between June 10 and 13. During the “Wasserschuh” game, the green tea called “Emerald” and the black tea “Rubine” became the official beverage of the tournament. It should be noted that those two teas were both produced by Guitea Company which is located in Guizhou China. That is to say, for a second time, Guitea Company has become the sole sponsor of “Wasserschuh” sport event.

“Wasserschuh” means a kind of shoe which can help people to walk on the water. During the game, each athlete will be required to wear such a pair of shoes to have aquatic run race with others. To complete the race, it will cost athletes a lot of water as well as energy. Hence, Guizhou tea which is easy to brew and is famous for its fresh taste became athletes’ favorite.

As a key brand of China’s tea industry, Guitea Company laid strong emphasis on the quality of their product. The planting and processing of tea had already passed the inspection of EU. Now, Guizhou tea has become an important commodity for Germany’s famous supermarkets like Kaufhof and Karstadt. Besides the broadening of overseas market, the company engaged in pushing the development of China’s tea culture at the meantime. In other words, Guizhou tea was constantly reaching out to the world and was gradually accepted by more and more abroad customers.

Moreover, in last summer’s Brunswick “Wasserschuh” World Cup, Guitea Company was also the chief sponsor of the tournament. Guizhou tea has cooperated with Wasserschuh for the second time. The cooperative connection between Guitea and Wasserschuh is going deeper from simple partnership to even a marriage. Perhaps during the next year’s tournament, “Wasserschuh” would express its deep feeling to the company: I love you once. I love you twice. I love Chinese tea more than beans and rice!
