“Connect & Cultivate”: a 24-hour Networking Ecosystem at SportAccord 2026

Shabazz Muhammad, promising star from Minnesota Timberwolves, took part in several interactive activities at NBA Yao School, a joint venture by NBA China and Yao Ming, in Shanghai China yesterday when the students completed the spring semester.
On his visit Shabazz was warmly welcomed by the youth who enthusiastically took part in the Q&A session, during which he shared interesting stories of him off the basketball court.
Additionally, Shabazz introduced tips for basketball training to the graduates.
He also attended friendly one-on-one challenge against the students but easily beaten due to encouragement for the youngsters.
Besides with Shabazz Muhammad, other NBA stars will feature in cities of China in campaigns including NBA Nation and NBA preseason game between Los Angles and Charlotte Hornets in the coming months.
As promised by NBA Yao School, the students would gain the accesses to both tours by NBA teams and stars.
