K-Bird is going to launch a new branch in Hong Kong to facilitate its development within the sports industry. The new branch is going to be a major operating platform for the investment it agreed to do for the Spanish football agency, the Best of You Sports. Apart from that, the new company will be responsible for product R&D and trade. The budget for the new company will be 150 million yuan.
Recently, K-Bird has made several moves to exploit the sports industry, including investing in the Spanish football agency in April, partnering with five Chinese organizations and companies to develop campus sports video platforms and campus sports events management in May.
This is the latest move the clothing company took in relation to sports. They were reported to aim at forming a closer relationship with the global market. Therefore Hong Kong became an ideal choice.
After Chinese government announced decisions to promote sports-related consumptions and grow the industry, many capitals and companies started to invest in this area. K-Bird is one of them.
