SportAccord Convention 2026: Event Schedule taking shape in Baku

On 27th May, Peng Yanyan, who is the broker of Wu Ashun, a Chinese famed golfer, confirmed the information that Wu had decided to sign with BMW. According to the signed deal, the BMW logo would not appear on Wu’s clothing.
“We started cooperation with BMW in 2013,” When asked about the deal, Peng Yanyan gave her answear, “The sponsorship modes for many large enterprises varied quite differently. BMW sponsored lots of large-scale events, but it didn’t required players to show its logo intentionally.”
Broker team of Wu got sponsorship from SRIXON, BMW, HUGO BOSS etc. at the moment.
Wu Ashun is a professional golfer from China. He played on the Asian Tour in 2008 and 2009, and his best finish was T-4 at the 2009 Singha Thailand Open. His first event was won in September 2012 at the Toshin Golf Tournament in Ryosen.
As the first golfer from China to win on the Japan Golf Tour, he marked the history. Wu won again on the Japan Golf Tour in 2013, with a one stroke victory at the Heiwa PGM Championship.
The biggest win occurred in 2015 when he won the Volvo China Open on the European Tour. Wu has also played on the OneAsia Tour, finishing 19th on the 2011 Order of Merit.
