The Chinese Football Association (CFA) held a joint press conference with LeTV Sports on April 8, announcing that LeTV Superphone would be the title sponsor of Chinese Women's Super League for the following 5 years.
Chinese Women's Super League has 8 members in total and adopts home-and-away match system. According to Liu Hongchen, the vice president of CFA, Chinese Women Super League has learned from women’s football leagues in United States and South Korea in league members in order to improve the level and match experience.
In spite of the previous great success of Chinese women’s football, it has caught much less attention from the supports than Chinese men’s football does.
However, Ren Luyu, an official of CFA, revealed that high-definition video broadcast from LeTV Sports and the introduction of promotion and demotion system will jointly make the women’s league more exciting.
There will be 56 matches in this season due to Women’s World Cup. The opener will simultaneously be broadcasting on LeTV, GSTV, BTV Sports, and JSport. And LeTV will provide live signal of 30 matches at least.
