On March 28th, 2015 IAAF World Cross Country Championships was held in Guiyang. Japan electronics giant—Canon sponsored the event. As official sponsor of IAAF, Canon would sponsor 15 events during 2013-2016, the World Cross Country Championships was one of them.
The cross country running has a history of thousands of year. Since 1973, IAAF held that event every March. In 2015, that event was held in China for every first time.
Canon, the leading company in camera industry, is ubiquitous in international sports events. High fidelity and high velocity are the most impressive qualities of Canon. EOS SLR camera became well-recognized by pros from the first release. Canon provided technical support, camera and lens renting in 2013 Moscow IAAF World Championships.
During August 22nd to 30th, IAAF World Championships will be held in Beijing. Top athletes are going to gather in Beijing, and Canon will sponsor that as well.
