The Shanghai Football Association recently collaborated with the Bundesliga football team, BVB Dortmund, to promote the development of youth football training in Shanghai.
The two parties signed a strategic partnership on December 17 in Shanghai, with the Shanghai Football Association President ZHU Guanghu, Borussia Dortmund Head of Business Development / International Relations Benedikt Scholz and other leaders in attendance.
The two parties plan to co-organize activities, meetings and training sessions. In-depth collaborations and communication will take place between schools in Shanghai and the club, with the current Bundesliga leaders providing professional staff to support children and youth football education. Both sides will collaborate in the training of physical education teachers, coaches and referees and take part in research in physical exercise, nutrition, sports medicine and physical therapy.
They also aim to promote exchanges between regional football organizations, create a communication platform for football professionals with different expertise, and explore a regional football culture development model, contributing to football reforms in China.
