“Shanghai, where Great Sports has made a huge presence, is a very important market for the Chinese sports industry.” Sina Sports General Manager Arthur Wei said, “the 19-year-old Sina Sports wants to create a partnership model for traditional TV broadcasters and new media platforms.”
Great Sports General Manager Weng Weimin also remarked, “Both of us are outstanding media platforms who have great histories and experiences. Facing the changes in the sports landscape, we need to become good ‘product managers’, keeping pace with the demands of the public.”
